Somewhere along the line
I saw a silhouette
Felt a hand
And wandered off on my own
I assumed
That where I was headed
Had no need to be proceeded
With focus
And yet I ended up
Somehow
Lost
Perspective
Dictates
No matter how big or small the target
It will remain skewed until up close
So is the same with love
Or so I’m told
There is no straight line
In this circle
No break in the bend
That makes these edges
Yet when I find myself
Wandering
All I see are lines
That I continue to follow aimlessly
Hoping to find perspective
On a target I will never see clear
